A chilling eyewitness video that has now gone viral captures the accused, Rakshit Chaurasia, appearing visibly intoxicated as he stumbles out of the wrecked vehicle, repeatedly yelling, “Another round, another round!” His erratic behaviour doesn’t stop there—he is also heard screaming the name ‘Nikita’, adding an air of intrigue to the unfolding mystery.
With social media abuzz with speculation, the focus now shifts to what Chaurasia himself has revealed about the name ‘Nikita.’

Speaking to reporters, the accused, Rakshit Chaurasia, has reportedly claimed that the name ‘Nikita’ slipped out randomly as he was in a state of panic. "The girl's name came out randomly. Because I was in a panic state", Chaurasia said.
What Does ‘Another Round’ Mean?
As various theories circulate on social media regarding the cryptic phrase “Another Round,” police investigating the Vadodara car crash have uncovered a big clue — a poster of the Danish film Druk, or Another Round in English—inside Rakshit Chaurasia’s rented apartment.
The Oscar-winning film, directed by Thomas Vinterberg, is a black comedy that follows four teachers stuck in mundane routines who embark on an experiment with alcohol to test its effects on their lives. The film stars Mads Mikkelsen, known for his role as Le Chiffre in the James Bond film Casino Royale.
With the discovery of this poster at Rakshit’s residence, speculation is rife that his shouted phrase “Another Round” may have been a reference to the movie. Cops have also identified a four-member friend group linked to Rakshit, drawing possible parallels to the film’s storyline.
The group consists of:
- Rakshit, the accused
- Pranshu, who was in the car at the time of the crash and is now absconding.
- Suresh, whose house they visited before the accident.
- Nikita, a name Rakshit kept screaming after the crash.
A theory suggests that Rakshit and his friends may have seen themselves as counterparts to the characters in Another Round and attempted to emulate them.
However, there is one glaring contradiction—in the film, the four friends set strict rules for their drinking experiment, one of which was never to drink and drive.
Despite Rakshit’s claims that he was not intoxicated at the time of the crash, a rapid test confirmed alcohol consumption, while detailed test results are still awaited. Eyewitnesses also reported that he appeared visibly intoxicated at the scene.
As the investigation unfolds, officials are working to piece together the real story behind ‘Another Round’ and its connection to the tragic incident.
Vadodara Crash: What Happened So Far | Top Developments
Meanwhile, several fresh CCTV footages related to the shocking road accident have now emerged. In the latest visuals, accused law student Rakshit Chaurasia and one of his friends were captured.
The speeding car that collided with two scooters and dragged the riders a few meters before coming to a stop was also seen in the newly surfaced footage, recorded on March 13 at 10:33 PM—45 minutes before the fatal crash.
According to the visuals, accused Rakshit Chaurasia arrived at his friend Suresh Bharwad's residence on a scooter. Both were seen engaged in a conversation as they ascended the stairs of the house. Rakshit was also seen drinking from a bottle, though the contents of the bottle remain unverified.
Another clip recorded at 10:46 PM from the same location captured Pranshu Chauhan, another friend of Rakshit who was with him at the time of the accident. Pranshu arrived at the location in a black sedan (the vehicle involved in the fatal crash). He parked the car in front of the house and was seen heading upstairs.
At around 11:25 PM, both accused Rakshit Chaurasia and his friend Pranshu Chauhan were seen descending the stairs. They opened the gate and departed from the location in the same black sedan.
On Friday, a woman lost her life, and four others sustained critical injuries after a speeding car driven by Rakshit, a law student from Varanasi, rammed into them at around 12:30 AM near Muktanand Cross Roads in the Karelibaug area. The vehicle crashed into multiple two-wheelers, resulting in the woman’s immediate death, while the injured were rushed to the hospital.
